Thank you for getting back to me. It’s great you're interested in hosting an after school Design Club at [Name of school].
In terms of requirements, we’d need a classroom to run the club in, plus coloured pens and pencils, paper and access to a printer. The children would need to have access to a smartphone or tablet with Marvel App (a free app for making prototypes) installed.
Design Club is 95% pen and paper, but the children will really benefit if they can see their paper sketches turned into digital prototypes. It’s fine for the children to share a device - or use one belonging to the teacher or school.
Ideally the club would cater for 10 children in [YX and X], and will run for 10 sessions (1 hour each). I’m happy to run the club but I would need another adult (a teacher, teaching assistant or parent) to be there as support.
Design Club has a safeguarding policy. [I have a DBS certificate / I’m in the process of getting a DBS check/ Please let me know if the school can help me arrange a DBS check].
How does this all sound? Perhaps as a next step we could meet or chat?
